   ’cellos

Many people consider the violoncello, or ’cello for short, to be the most beautiful of all instruments. It has changed very little for the last three hundred years.
With its robust and melodious tone, it is one of the most rewarding stringed instruments to play.

As both a ’cellist and ’cello repairer, my main focus is the supply and set up of  ’cellos to the best they can be. This is particularly important for students who can try the instruments before purchase. I will always advise on the most suitable strings.

I stock a full range of  ’cellos starting from £400 to £2000 which I consider student instruments, to upgrades (new and older) instruments from £3500. I also have at present, instruments by William Forster and Thomas Kennedy, plus various old English. (prices on application).

I stock a full range of hand picked ’cello bows suitable for student through to professional players. Also quality rosins, strings, stands, soft and hard cases etc.
